Few things rival the excitement of a couple announcing their engagement. That thrill was palpable when Sam and Alex shared their news. With Alex’s parents being long-standing clients, we’ve had the pleasure of witnessing Sam and Alex’s love story blossom.

Our journey with them began when Alex’s mom contacted us to arrange their New Year’s Day engagement party. Following the festivities, we sat down with the couple (alongside their beloved dog Louise) at their chosen venue. Initially drawn by its proximity to their home, they soon realized its limitations, especially since they anticipated 200 guests while the venue could only accommodate 150. Undeterred, the couple remained positive, and with a clearer understanding of their needs, we suggested alternative venues. Upon visiting the Pittsburgh Botanic Gardens, Sam and Alex instantly knew they had found the perfect setting for their special day.

The subsequent months were dedicated to meticulous wedding planning, including dance lessons and fine-tuning details like entertainment, menu selections, and décor. Sam envisioned an autumn-themed celebration for their mid-November wedding, opting for natural hues with hints of silver metallics for table décor and vibrant floral arrangements expertly crafted by the team at Dan’s Floral Design in Pitcairn.

While deciding on the look and entertainment came easily, curating the menu required finesse. With a guest list exceeding 200 and diverse dietary preferences to accommodate, we aimed to create a menu that catered to everyone’s needs. Emphasizing vegan options, we crafted a menu that delighted guests with an array of palate-pleasing choices.

Following a delectable dinner, guests indulged in a beloved Pittsburgh tradition: the cookie table, before dancing the night away to the tunes of the lively band, The Bachelor Boys.

It was a truly magical evening, and we were honored to play a part in commemorating such a significant milestone in Sam and Alex’s lives. We eagerly anticipate celebrating their future milestones and the next chapter of their journey together.
