As a vital part of the culinary scene, Bob contributes his vision of French cuisine with a modern twist. As a member of the first National Apprenticeship Program, sponsored by the American Culinary Federation, Bob took his ambitions to the Green-briar Hotel in WV. Consequently, he graduated Valedictorian of the program.
Shortly after graduation, Bob came to Pittsburgh to open The Mozart Room, a private dining room at the Heinz Hall of Performing Arts. There he met Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Heinz II who offered Bob a Personal Chef position with the Heinz family. Together with them, he moved to New York City and traveled extensively.
In addition, Bob was a Personal Chef to the Bruce Kovner family. While traveling to the culinary capitals of Europe, Bob found the opportunity to collaborate with Roger Verge in Mougins, France. After several years of traveling the world and tasting his way around Europe, Bob landed a teaching position at Pennsylvania Culinary Institute in Pittsburgh. There he taught Classical and International Cuisine.
While teaching, Bob was asked to apprentice under Chef Madeleine Kamman and attended the School for American Chefs at Beringer Vineyards in Napa Valley.
Most recently, Bob has led culinary tours of Italy, offering fun cooking classes and culinary insights along the way.
